Pretty poor really - I needed a bigger kite to get going properly, didn't get much above walking pace. Still it was nice to be able to have a fly doing low passes etc without having your arms pulled out of their sockets.

Al seemed to be having more joy with his blade than i did.

It was a bit cold and miserable, and the wind was frustating to say the least, with it sometimes being a struggle to keep the kite in the air.
